Volvo Electric Car Coming In 2019

Volvo unveiled a fully electric C30 compact hatch in 2009 that it used for research purposes and even loaned out to customers to learn more about how people use electric cars on a daily basis.

The electric C30, dubbed the C30 BEV, proved popular as Volvo soon after became one of the first automakers with a plug-in hybrid in its lineup and later this decade will also have a fully electric car in its lineup too.

Volvo today confirmed that its fully electric car would arrive no later than 2019. Unfortunately, no further details were released by Volvo but Autocar is reporting that the car is likely to be a crossover with a range of approximately 325 miles.
